We had another party for the Superbowl this year and had a great time as always. We were of course completely bummed that we didn't get to watch the Packers and Brett Favre playing, but this way, we really didn't care who won or lost. It was supposed to be a crock pot party, but we only had two crock pots, including our own. It was a good thing too because the fuses kept blowing from all of the electricity we were using! We had great food and company, but my favorite guest as usual was Houston. He made his rounds with everyone holding him and smiled and laughed almost the whole day - what a great kid! For halftime, Tom Petty only kept us interested for so long, so we had to flip over to a ham eating contest - pretty entertaining, but the older guy was the most entertaining (see his pictures here)! The first 3 quarters of the game were really boring, so that gave us time to chat and catch up, but the 4th quarter was pretty exciting and most everyone at our party was very happy about the Giants winning the Superbowl. So much for a perfect season, Patriots!
