Hawaii - here we are!

Scott and I went to the Big Island of Hawaii where his brother, Craig and brother's girlfriend, Jenny were visiting from Wisconsin. These are from one night at a Luau.
A short walk down from our hotel took us to a lava rock beach. We saw all sorts of plants and fish. We loved these red plants, but are still unsure what they are. We also went scuba diving close by. There were turtles (honu) swimming right up next to us. I'm putting this picture of Scott up much to his protest.

Though we stayed in Kona, we went over to the East side of the island one day to see the rain forests and waterfalls and also the volcano park. I almost took some lava rock home until I found out that I'd have bad luck from the goddess Pele!
We also spent a day with Nick on Oahu. Look at the place where Nick lives - it's the most beautiful back yard I've ever seen!

Skiing/Snowboarding at Big Bear

Scott and I went up to Big Bear Mountain for the weekend. It was the best snow weekend they've had so far! We got mad air. There was a hot tub at our lodge and Scott secretly took a picture of me looking like a crazy woman half clothed out to test the temperature of the water.

Family Meeting

Nancy was in town for a week at the Golden Door and Kristin was up in Laguna beach at her dad's place with her half-sister, Chelsea. We all got to meet up for a wonderful lunch and hike. What luck to all be so close together for a weekend!

Sales Meeting in San Diego

The group that I work with all came to San Diego for a meeting - it was great to have all of my work colleagues in one city!
