Los Angeles

Last weekend, I met an old college friend up in LA for the weekend. We drove around and did the touristy thing and had a great time!

Monkeying around on Earth Day

Scott and I went and walked around Balboa Park to see all that they had going on for Earth Day. We met a recycling can and saw a lot of interesting people and things. The best part was our stop by the zoo, where we watched lots of playing and grooming monkeys. Here's a video so you can pretend you were at the zoo too!

GuitarHero!

Scott and I got GuitarHero for the XBox and though we've played at Alex's place before, we thoroughly enjoyed another fun evening of playing again. Since Alex is the most entertaining, there's a little bonus of him at the end.

Tiffany, the Gourmet Chef

Since I am working earlier hours now, I am back in the groove with cooking again. Last week, I made a meal that even impressed myself! It was pork tenderloin with an apricot glaze, fruity wild rice and asparagus with toasted walnuts. YUMMY, If I do say so myself! :D

Relaxing in the Mountains

I went on a walk and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and my fun camera with the color accent options. We colored Easter Eggs and had a fight with them, to see whose egg would not crack. Unfortunately, the eggs were not cooked fully and we made a bit of a mess with the egg-off. It was fun, though! Alex acted as our resident bartender, but I won't embarrass him here in saying that he needs some more practice. ;-) The picture of the trees and lake in the background was out the window of the living room in the house we rented - what a great view, eh!?

Big Bear

We went up to Big Bear last weekend to hit the slopes and enjoyed our time in a big house. 11 of us went up and we had a great time. Josh was entertaining with his neon pink gloves. Murphy concentrated on keeping upright on his skiis. Scott lost our NCAA bracket bet again this year and had to do a run down in his swim trunks. It was so warm that it wasn't even that weird! Still entertaining, though. On one run down (more clothed), he took a video with my camera. There were beautiful views up there!
