Here's a picture of Scott at the top with some gorgeous scenery behind him. We hiked all of the way back down that day and drove back to San Diego to go to work again the next day!

Scott and I made it to the top - 14,496 feet - this is the highest point in the Continental US. Awesome!
We camped out at around 12,000 feet and woke up at 2AM to start again. It was nice hiking in the dark with our headlamps because there were SO MANY stars! This is a picture close to the top of the sunrise. At this point, even though exhausted, we felt exhilarated!
We stopped at Lone Pine lake along the way to take a break. Hiking with our big packs was exhausting!
